The Trap of Probation

This Project was a great collaboration between Pixel Collective and the good people at Color of Change and Militia Design.This project definitely required some weekend work, but we are so proud of the finished product. The team at Pixel Collective are very engaged in social justice projects, so this one was right up our alley.

 
 

Meek Mill Illustration

We wanted the look for this video to be minimalistic with dynamic transitions. We decided on an illustration style that emphasizes the use of negative space so that it’d feel integrated with the rest of the video.

Infographic Scene

Simple infographics really help convey a narrative. Our team used news paper clips to add an added layer of depth as well as rotoscoping Van Jones out so we could really have some engaging layouts for this video.

The State Transition

Often times I enjoy using simple shapes as a catalyst for dynamic motions and transitions. I wanted to play with the metaphor of the “ All seeing eye” of a police state to inform this illustration
